Bisate Lodge Rwanda Accommodation
Bisate Lodge offers accommodation in 6 Forest villas with stunning views. Villas are spacious with almost 1000 sq ft in size and have been designed by Rwandan craftsmen.
All villas feature his and her ensuite with walk-in showers, spacious lounge area, a library, a fireplace, a laundry service and a private butler.
Each villa has 6 guest rooms which can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests per room, with twin or double beds.
While staying at Bisate Lodge Villa you can enjoy private massage treatments and stunning views from a private balcony.
Prices range from $1,550 up to $2,550, depending on the season with the minimum stay of 2 nights. The price includes accommodation, all meals and drinks, laundry, massage and some lodge activities.
All six Forest villas provide maximum luxury and comfort and views while following eco-friendly principles and reflecting the rich culture of Rwanda.
Bisate Lodge Rwanda Activities
Bisate Lodge offers a wide range of on site activities, including guided birding and nature walks, guided nursery visit and tree planting, guided walks to surrounding communities, running trails, gym at villas, wine tasting, movie screenings and more.
Outside of the Lodge you can go for guided walks to the Bisate reforestation site, nursery school in Bisate Village and to surrounding communities to meet the locals.
Some of the unique activities include guided Gorilla Safari treks at Volcanoes park, planting your own tree at Bisate nurseries, guided cave exploring at Bisate and great birding walks.
Gorilla Safari treks are not included in the price of the stay at Bisate Lodge and costs $1500 per person.
Bisate Lodge Rwanda Dining Experience
Bisate Lodge has a main lodge styled in the same decor as villas. The main lodge features a stylish bar with a cozy sitting area around an open fire, an intimate dining area with only six tables, a wine cellar and a balcony that offers stunning views of the surrounding volcanoes.
Bisate Lodge offers an all-inclusive service where all meals, drinks, cocktails and premium wine are included in your stay. All meals are served in the restaurant in the main lodge. The menu changes on a daily base and features slow-cooked and healthy meals.
Signature dishes include liboke – served in banana leaves, sambaza – fried spicy fish served with ginger rice, and kachumbari – tomato and onion salad. Common ingredients used in Bisate’s dishes include wild honey, kale, papaya, avocado, mango, plantain, passion fruit, pineapple, nuts and chilies.
A must have is a Rwandan coffee, called Gato Keza, sourced from the local Kigufi Coffee Estate.
