page title icon DIY Glamping: Glamping in Your Own Backyard

I have been stuck in my house for some time already and the news about the pandemic don’t look very promising. I can’t cross the border and go to spend some time outdoors. I am dreaming about my next vacation but I don’t know when that will happen. I thought how great it would be to take a break from my living room and get some adventure.

Since I love camping and staycation is my only option right now, I thought of bringing camping to my own backyard. In fact if I add some glamour and comfort to my backyard camping, I could turn it into a fun glamping experience. I’m sure this will make my neighbours jealous 🙂

Why not creating a glamping experience in your own backyard?

Are you facing self-isolation right now or would like to have a staycation to avoid travelling outside your city? There is no greater satisfaction in the world knowing that you have created something amazing by your own hands.

Now, where to start?

All you need to have is a backyard and that’s where the path of true adventurer starts. This post will help you create the best glamping experience in your own backyard without even getting to your car.

What Do You Need to Create DIY Backyard Glamping?

All you need for DIY backyard glamping is a tent, cozy bed and some additional accessories like a nice mat, lighting, a table and chairs. Here are some ideas to create an amazing campsite in your own backyard.

1. Buy the Right Tent

If you aren’t up for the task of building your own cabin, you can buy different styles and types of tents to suit your needs. It is worth noting that there are some tents on the market that are spacious enough for the full glamping experience.

If you are looking for a tent that is easy to set up or pack away for your glamping experience a Bell tent could be a great choice.

What is a Bell Tent?

Bell Tent is one of the most popular tents nowadays. Simple in design and structure it is supported by a single central pole and covered with cotton canvas.

Bell tents range in sizes, but often have a spacious interior and are perfect for the people who like staying outdoors in a more traditional way but with a dose of luxury.

Below are some great bell tents you might want to consider for your glamping experience:

They are built in the shape of a dome and from a combination of wood, iron and canvas or even a transparent material with a see-through top so that glampers can enjoy the views of the sky.
