If you are looking for a luxury camping Victoria site, look no further than the BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park. Iluka Retreat is located on a beautiful 36 acre private property on the Mornington Peninsula. Guest review: “Lovely location, with pobblebonk frogs creating a peaceful atmosphere during the evening. Thoughtful touches included some games in the tent, fairy lights around the door, and plenty of extra blankets. The tents and beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having an elevated deck when it rained.”

4. Cosy Tents – Daylesford 

Just 1.5 hour away from Melbourne and 15 minutes from Daylesford, the serene grounds of accommodation, Cosy Tents are perfect for glamping. 

Their bell tents are fully furnished with a plush pillow top queen or double size beds, pillows, blankets, luxury linen, in tent lighting, speakers, USB mobile phone charging point, wine glasses, plates, cutlery, and more. BBQ area, fire pit and a bathroom are all available outside.

5. Grapevine Glamping 

Grapevine glamping site gives you a unique opportunity to stay on a real working winery and vineyard farm while enjoying all the comforts of home.  

The site offers glamping in bell tents with king size bed, heating and cooling, breakfast service and a deck. As well, inside you will find board games and magazines, fishing gear, local maps and guides, and a mini bar with a selection of Cofield Wines. 

A fully equipped camp kitchen including BBQ, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, fire pit with marshmallows and shared bathroom are located outside.

Grapevine Glamping allows you to disconnect from all and indulge in a glass of amazing Cofield Shiraz.

Guest review: “Beautiful. It’s exactly what we were after. The tents overlook the winery facing north – west, which means we had beautiful views of sunset.

The tent itself is spacious and comfortable. It fits a wine fridge, large bed, towel rack, split system AC and fan. Given it’s facing west, the tent can beat up which is why the AC gets put to good use.

The ground has two tents about 5-10 metres apart. We had great neighbours so we enjoyed it. The bathroom facilities are shared but very clean and comfortable.”

6. Goldfield Glamping 

This highly rated glamping site on Booking.com is a perfect getaway for everyone looking to escape daily hustle and bustle. 

Goldfield Glamping site is located in the heart of the goldfields region between Daylesford, Castlemaine and Maldon, on a 25 acre private site.  

This off grid site has a worm farm septic system and solar panels that provide electricity and water for showers and toilets is collected from the roof of the barn and house.

Goldfield Glamping offers accommodation in bell tents and tipis with cozy beds, a kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and outside area for relaxation.

During your stay you will experience a lot of wildlife around with kangaroos, wombats and echidnas as frequent visitors. Goldfield Glamping has a private creek frontage with a series of pools, cascades and amazing cliffs, glades and riverside trees great for bushwalking, panning for gold or relaxing.
